Social Media Strategy Case Study
YOUR NEW NORMAL
Challenge: Meera Elbay, the founder of Your New Normal, knew social media could help her raise awareness about her not-for-profit organisation and address grief concerns among Millennials. However, she needed guidance to define her digital strategy.
Project: Meera and I discussed her organisation’s ambition and reviewed her short and medium-term objectives. I walked her through the different social media platforms she could consider, shared best practices and introduced her to useful tools she could use to manage her accounts and build an engaged digital community of young adults who suffer bereavement.
Results: Your New Normal has grown significantly over the past 18 months. It has now more than 3000 followers on Instagram (April 2020), and Meera has also launched a podcast and a newsletter. Meera is also one of the young changemakers featuring on the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust’s website. “I enlisted Claire earlier this year in her capacity as a freelance consultant. Twitter Case Study
Challenge: Day-to-day management of Cerner’s key UK social media channels, including Twitter.
Project: I created engaging and interactive content. I believe that 80 % of the content should educate and inspire the audience and 20% should promote the company, products or services.
Instagram Case Study
Challenge: The founder of Hayya Health didn’t have the capacity to grow her social media account. She needed support to manage her Instagram account and Facebook page so she could concentrate on growing her business and taking care of her clients.
Project: I generate daily content, which is aligned with Hayya Health values and sales objectives. I developed branding guidelines and the aesthetic of Hayya Health’s Instagram feed.

Pinterest Case Study
Challenge: Claire Imaginarium was launched in 2016 and grew steadily over the past four years. This platform has allowed me to grow my network, join influencers groups and work with amazing brands. However, I am always aspiring to grow the traffic to this platform more through SEO and social media channels.
Project: I knew that Pinterest was a great tool to help increase traffic and leads to a website. In October 2019, I had the opportunity to meet the Pinterest team. They taught a group of bloggers and influencers I am part of how to maximise Pinterest to drive traffic to our websites. They shared all the best practices and tools to use to get results.
Results: In September 2019, my average monthly unique visitors was around 70,000. After meeting with the Pinterest team and consistently following their advice and creating good quality content, my account has now 268,000+ monthly unique visitors (true in May 2020). Pinterest has driven a significant amount of traffic to my website, and my strategy has made my account one of the top-performing Pinterest profile among the influencer group I am a member of.
LinkedIn Case Study
CHANNEL 3 CONSULTING
Challenge: Channel 3 Consulting needed help introducing, structuring and maintaining key communications activities with an emphasis on social media, especially LinkedIn and Twitter.
Project: During my 5-month contract with them, I helped optimise and grow both their LinkedIn and Twitter accounts. I also created training materials for their sales team, so they could learn to leverage both Twitter and LinkedIn to create valuable connections, inform their client base and generate sales leads.
Results: @Channel3group monthly impressions went from 991 in February to 7460 in June, which equals to a 652% increase. Their monthly profile visits went from 1 in February to 890. Channel 3 Consulting LinkedIn page monthly impressions went from 512 in February to 8844 in May, which equals to a 1.6k% increase. Their engagement rate started at 3.91% in February and raised to 7.67% in May, which is significantly above LinkedIn average engagement rate of .054%.
